Outdated legacy system
The existing system did not reflect modern usage or the varied demographics of the people using it.
Building services, digitally managed.
We revamped a legacy facility management system into Customer Cockpit, a legally compliant portal where building managers book, record and order services and see which meters and smoke detectors need attention.

What stood in the way.
Building managers are responsible for services, equipment and safety devices across their buildings, and much of that work depends on service providers. The legacy system made it harder to stay on top of this.
The existing system did not reflect modern usage or the varied demographics of the people using it.
Facility management is governed by law, so bookings, records and service orders had to be legally compliant.
Plumbing, meter reading, accounting and energy services all had to be booked and tracked with service providers.
Managers needed to know which measuring devices, especially smoke detectors, were defective before they caused harm.
How we answered it.
We rebuilt the legacy system as Customer Cockpit, a portal that digitalises information management, maintenance and accounting for buildings. Managers handle services in one place and get a daily view of the status of their equipment.
The parts that made the difference.
Building managers book, record, maintain and order services from providers, including plumbing, meter reading, accounting and energy consumption.
The portal reports the daily status of billing, installations and measuring devices.
A status overview shows which measuring devices are defective and need to be checked or replaced, with particular attention to smoke detectors.
Digital records support the safety of equipment and meters and track overall energy consumption.
What changed for the client.
Customer Cockpit gives building managers a digital, legally compliant way to manage services and equipment across residential and commercial buildings.
